In the video below, security expert David Chalk warns of an international power grid failure worse than nuclear war from current smart grid practices and says he offers to hack it to demonstrate the vulnerabilities on tv. He calls for all media to cover this and all governments to halt the installations of smart grid NOW before it is too late. Watch this new video interview (in a trailer for a smart grid movie being made) that shows the vulnerability of the grid to hacking – Chalk says the smart grid is unsafe and it is an emergency. He asks for governments and all media to take notice. Further safety and privacy rights issues are also mentioned.

“I have stated that today’s vulnerability of the new “SMART (not so smart) METERS” will lead to lights out for everyone with the entire power grid at risk of being taken down by cyber attack. If installations continue, without a 100% fail-safe monitoring technology, it’s only a matter of time.
We’ve all been reading the technology sections of the news. Unexplained massive power outages in small towns and cities, high profile websites being taken down, equipment failures, nuclear reactor failures, jails, and even cars being proven unsecure. It is undisputed, even by the pentagon and the FBI, that the nation and world is at the mercy of those with the knowledge and ability to infiltrate a computer infrastructure and cause damage. We’re in a state of crisis.
One of the most amazing paradigms in the last 100 years has been the global shift to computer automation and the internet. This shift has given the world possibilities beyond our wildest imaginations. But this shift has also exposed the world to vulnerabilities that have never been considered. Electric power companies, hydroelectric power companies, oil and gas companies – the backbones of our nation – have all come together online. All connected. And it’s the proposed SMART METERs on our homes and businesses that have given them the connectivity and us the exposure to disaster.
Unless we all wake up very soon and realize what the power companies are doing, there is 100% certainty of total catastrophic failure of the entire power infrastructure. How these companies can claim they are merging the power grid with the internet safely, without any risk, is insanity at its finest.
Society must have the choice whether or not they want SMART METERS or wireless technology in their homes. How stupid is this? ‘Smart’ is an oxymoron term for these new meters and the grid. The California CPUC has a ‘cell’ of people in it who could be investigated, charged, and potentially jailed, for undermining our national security, perhaps deliberately. Insiders have seen evidence of what could be viewed as internal agency domestic terrorism carried out at the CPUC. This can also be seen at the federal level- what else can you call it? Setting us up to be 100% vulnerable, perhaps to bring America down, and California is first in line, stupidly allowing this and promoting it, with people at the CPUC with very questionable conduct and backgrounds. CEP calls for an investigation into how this has been allowed to occur and for immediate corrections – STOP THE WIRELESS SMART GRID NOW!
